How I got here

My Journey

Here's a little bit about how I got here, from my grandma's kitchen to professional ones.

Where It All Started

I grew up cooking and baking with my grandma, and I have so many fond memories of those afternoons in her kitchen. She's the one who gave me my love for cooking and baking, long before I ever thought about doing this for a living.

First Taste of the Trade

My first real job was at a small lunch café, and it's where cooking turned into something I wanted to take seriously. It's the place that gave me the push to actually pursue this as a career, and I haven't looked back since.

Culinary Arts Specialisation

I went on to do a Bachelor's in Hotel Management with a specialisation in Culinary Arts. It gave me the foundation I needed to actually turn this into something real.

My Experience

Alongside my studies, I worked at Sans Cravate, a one Michelin star restaurant in Bruges, where I got to see for the first time how the Michelin world really works. I then completed my internship at Cinc Sentits, a two Michelin star restaurant in Barcelona, where I learned rigour and discipline, and got to explore Catalan cuisine along the way.

Cooking Without Limits

Tell me what you're craving, and I'll build the menu around it. French, Mediterranean, Hungarian, Indian, with a good dose of Middle Eastern influence, or something invented entirely for the night, I don't stick to one cuisine, and I'm not precious about following a script. If you have an occasion, a vision, or just a long table and good company, I'd love to cook for it.
